Prior to becoming a locksmith, I provided installation and maintenance services to residential and commercial clients over seven years. While on these jobs, I was constantly asked if I knew a reliable locksmith, which prompted me to look into learning the trade. I enrolled in a specialized trade school for locksmiths and after completing the course, I began acquiring jobs. When I was at clients’ homes, I realized I still knew very little and it was clear that I was not thoroughly trained on how to service many various doors, breach doors or even open safes. After spending all that time and money, I knew I didn’t receive the proper training to be a locksmith. A friend of mine knew my situation and encouraged me to check out the online school by Locksmith Courses and after watching a short video, I decided to enroll. The course taught me the skills needed to breach any type of lock, whether it be a standard door lock, cylinder lock, multi-lock door lock, reinforced locks and even doors with high security locks. Locksmith Courses offers well explained instructions paired with videos, making it easy to follow along and comprehend. Today, I can proudly say that I am a certified and highly trained locksmith. My only regret is that I didn’t enroll sooner!
